All those special touches help invoke nostalgia, plus it’s easier for people to envision their own future holiday gatherings when they see how warm and cozy your house already is.

Myth #3: Nobody wants to move in December.
December is a busy month full of shopping, parties, decorating, and creating magical memories. It’s easy to assume that no one has the time (or the desire) to try to fit househunting into that mix. However, there are a couple reasons that buyers may be extra-motivated this time of year. Some people are under an end-of-the-year deadline to buy a house for tax reasons. Others may be looking for a fresh start at the new year, or need to move for work.
